Lowry-Gaither Molly McLendon Gaither and Tyler William Kemp Lowry were married at five o'clock on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Sawyer Family Farmstead in Glenville, North Carolina. The Reverend Doctor David M. Jordan officiated. A dinner reception, hosted by the parents of the bride followed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Guy Gaither of Charlotte. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stark Flaver Ginn, Jr. of Asheville and Lake Burton, GA, the late Mr. Homer Guy Gaither of Gainesville, GA and the late Mrs. Barbara Morgan Walsh of Covington, GA. Molly graduated from Myers Park High School and the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She earned an ASN from Presbyterian School of Nursing at Queens University and is pursuing her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Wingate University. The groom is the son of Mrs. Phyllis Rocco of Waynesville and the late Mr. Millard Lowry, Jr. of Laurinburg. He is the grandson of Reverend and Mrs. Robert Lee Mangum of Pembroke, the late Mr. Millard Lowry, Sr. and the late Reola McMillan both of Pembroke. Tyler graduated from Lee County High School in Sanford and North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Spanish. He is currently employed as a Senior Mortgage Consultant with New Penn Financial. The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Matron of Honor was Audrey Russell Stewart, a college friend of the bride, of Raleigh. Bridesmaids were Lauren Elizabeth Lowry, sister of the groom, of Charlotte; and the bride's close friends, Kimberly Godwin Guy of Hendersonville, TN, and Bri Purdy Schmid of Saint Louis, MO. The flower girl was Imogene Simms Stewart of Raleigh. Best man was Tyler Sauvain Strong, a college friend of the groom, of Cary. Groomsmen were Robert Bailey Gaither, brother of the bride, of Washington, DC; and close friends of the groom, Kennith William Dahm and Thor Andrew Rhodin both of Charlotte. The ring bearer was Parker Riley Stephenson, cousin of the groom, of Angier, NC. Scripture reading was presented by the bride's cousin, Ashley Swandby Pratt of Roanoke, VA. Wedding music was provided by Lauren Bulla on the violin and Karin Lyle on the violin and cello. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Carmine Rocco on Friday evening at Randevu Restaurant in Cashiers, NC. The couple will reside in Charlotte, North Carolina.
